We offer a range of services for private clients, catering for both organisations and individuals.

Individuals

Our fees depend on the caseworker who has been allocated to deal with your case, depending on skills and experience. You can receive legal advice from our solicitor, supervising caseworker, or caseworkers with more or less than two years’ experience.

Our fees are roughly £25 below the market average, bearing in mind that RAD is a not-for-profit charitable organisation and its mission is to serve the Deaf Community.

We will also provide Fixed Fees for certain cases. If at the end of your case, you have not reached the maximum, we will refund the difference. If your case exceeds the fixed fee, we will not charge you any more.

We provide private client fee-earning work in the following subject areas:

  • Employment;
  • Discrimination;
  • Family and matrimonial;
  • Welfare benefits;
  • Housing; and
  • Debt.

All clients will be assessed for legal aid so as to ensure that clients are not charged needlessly.

Organisations

HR Services

Do your policies, procedures and practices comply with the law and ensure that nothing gets in the way of running your organisation? If not, help is at hand.

We provide a range of solutions to avoid employment claims arising, including keeping staff up-to-date on developments in employment law, and we can also draft your contracts, policies and procedures and staff handbooks tailored to your business, to offer you peace of mind.

We can draft or vet any documentation or correspondence you need to send to your employees, such as:

  • Invitations to disciplinary hearings;
  • Warning letters;
  • Responses to grievances;
  • Letters of dismissal; and
  • Letters of appeal.

Training

We offer training programmes on a half day or one day basis to suit your organisation’s needs to ensure you and/or your managers and employees have the knowledge and skills required to deal with the myriad of employment law that currently exists in the UK.

Courses can be run at your own premises or at any suitable location outside the workplace.
